Collective Energy of the group

"When you break up the individuals from a community into individual units, they become disempowered because it's the collective energy of the group from which power comes.  The principal driving force that
lies before us, is that we have to recognise the nature of community as the evolutionary step that we just
took a step backwards from in the last century".  Bruce Lipton

As I read this quote from Bruce Lipton it really resonated with me.  As we come together in our Inspiring Minds Power Circle every second Monday it is like being  part of a community.  Together in the circle we become empowered as we share,  support and encourage each other.

At our last circle we farewelled Bron whom has gone to live in China.  Bron contributed so much to our group and was an inspiration to us all.

I am looking forward to our next circle on 16th August.

The POWER of an Inspiring Minds Power Circle

The power of an Inspiring Minds Power Circle.  It was Monday evening and time for our circle to meet at the library as we do every second Monday evening.  Well I am going to be completely honest and say that I was not feeling the brightest and was not feeling like attending.  The day had been spent sitting in a closed room doing my Refresher First Aid Course and I had got myself a little stressed out as there was a test at the end of it.  Well the test is not difficult but the thought of having one is my issue.  I walked away with my certificate and there was a sense of relief at the end of the day.

I had made a commitment to be part of this power circle so I was not going to not go, even though in the mind there was some chatter saying "how nice it would be to go home".

As the evening came to an end and I walked away I realized how good I felt. The energy that is created within the circle is uplifting and inspiring.  Hollie began the evening with a lovely peaceful meditation which soon allowed us to be still, relaxed and centred.  I was able to share my feelings about being a little stuck in my life and needed some assistance about moving out of this state.  Just expressing how I felt and receiving the support was powerful for me as there was no judgement and just a sharing.    Each member of the circle had time to share and receive assistance  and I am sure everyone felt supported and inspired.

One member of the circle gave us an idea that she had used.  To be still and allow one word to come to us that is positive and uplifting.  I did this lastnight and in such a short time the word came to me.  It was "communication".  I understand exactly why I received this message and now as I think of the word "communication" I feel inspired.  Sitting and writing this blog is a form of communication for me and as I am tapping this I feel happy, inspired and motivated as I am passionate about sharing and assisting others to live their truth.

I am so grateful for our Inspiring Minds Power Circle and the love and support within our circle.  We are looking forward to taking this out into the wider community and seeing many people coming together living a passionate life.

Mohammad Yunus - Banker to the Poor

As I sit here and think of Inspiring Minds Together and what it is about and where it is going I can not help but think of a wonderful humane man whom has done so much to bring the poor out of poverty.  His name is Mohammad Yunus.  If you have not heard of him, then you will now.  I read his autobiography  "Banker to the Poor"  and could not help but be touched by what this man has done and is doing for the world.

He is a shining light to the people of Bangladesh and to the world.  A man who has a passion to assist people out of poverty and to allow them to feel good about themselves.  He is the founder of the Grameen Bank and has followed his truth and not allowed the big organisations to sway what he has wanted to do.

Mohammad Yunus has encouraged mostly women to become self employed and they are given a loan to begin their own business.  They do what they know with the knowledge they have and bring themselves out of poverty with the assistance of a loan from the bank. They have to have a group of five people which is what we are calling a Power Circle.  Another word could be Mastermind Group.   These circles are supportive and empowering.

The reason for me mentioning this story is that I love hearing and reading about people and the difference they make in this world.  Each one of us is a Mohammad Yunus if we follow our truth from our heart and bring the gift that we have sitting inside of us and share it with the world. I believe that this is Yunus's purpose on Planet Earth and he has followed his truth with love and passion.  What is your purpose?  We are not Mohammad Yunus but we do make a difference within our own family, in our neighbourhood and it is not even about being known by many.  You radiate out to the universe when you are living your truth, following your heart and living from a space of love.

Inspiring Minds Together is about bringing people together to feel supported, motivated and inspired to live their truth, follow their passion and to become part of an Inspiring Minds Power Circle.  As Yunus recognised that the best way for people to feel powerful and supported is to have a circle.

To find out more about Mohammad Yunus I would suggest you google and you will be able to get a fuller story and also I highly recommend the book "Banker to the Poor".

Luv to you all.

Inspiring Minds Together - its creation and purpose

How blessed we are to live in a wonderful world and to be able to tap on the keyboard and share what we have to say.  I am going to write a little about why Inspiring Minds Together was created.

It was a thought and the thought came because I had a desire to have a group of inspiring, like minded people to inspire, motivate and encourage each other to live our truth and follow our dreams.  I then thought if I am going to do this for myself why not do it for many.  Being aware that many people go through life not really following their truth and doing what they think they should do rather than what they would love to do.
Then came the name as a thought  Inspiring Minds Together.
/
The next thought was that I would like someone to do this with me. I did not think who and thought nothing else about it.  Well some weeks later I was driving down the freeway to Sydney and a fleeting thought popped into my head.  It was "Hollie is the perfect person to do Inspiring Minds Together with you".
Sending Hollie a txt I arranged to meet her for a coffee.  I knew how I would like to see Inspiring Minds Together and asked Hollie if she would like to join me in this exciting venture.  Well as you can see we are now in partnership and I am blessed to have such a beautiful, young and passionate person taking Inspiring Minds Together out to the universe with me.

I have shared this with you because first we have the thought, and then the burning desire to pursue this thought.  If the desire is in alignment with who we are we will feel good about it. Following the thought and desire I then asked and let go of what should happen and just allowed.  My answer came when I was not expecting it as a was driving down the freeway.  Then it was my responsibility to take action on my answer that I had received.   It is important that we let everything happen in divine order and it is amazing how the universe always answers  everything we ask and it is our responsibility to take action.  We just have to listen and be patient.  Hollie and I have created our Inspiring Minds Power Circle and we are a circle of seven inspiring, loving people meeting every second Monday evening.
